Chris Grieve, the founder of Meridian Prime, has created a company that works with people who want to make changes that last, with organisations who want to make sustainable changes to the way they do business or to the way we collectively impact the planet.
Chris's expertise in professional and leadership development, facilitation of dialogue and engagement processes, and sustainable development solutions are brought together in a unique set of skills to help people get to where they want to go and to achieve what they want to achieve. For over 20 years Chris has been passionate about making a difference to people and planet and finding ways to incorporate this into her work. She has studied law & economics, marine ecology and physics at post graduate level. She has also studied human psychological development and adult education in various forms and is working towards gaining a Masters of Science degree in people and organisational development (Roffey Park Institute / University of Sussex). Her fascination and love for the ocean has enabled her to work alongside world leaders in science, business and government, as well as with passionate environmental activists and change agents in Europe, Australia, north America, south east Asia and the United Kingdom. Chris was the first International Policy Director of the Marine Stewardship Council in London and, from September 2005 to June 2010, its only Associate Director. Chris continues to work on ecologically sustainable fisheries and marine ecosystems as a consultant to a variety of organisations. Chris is also an Associate of The Environment Council, UK; a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, a Registered Member of the Institute of Fisheries Management and a Member of the Institute of Directors. As an accredited Executive Business Coach (School of Coaching / University of Strathclyde) Chris has worked at the highest executive levels helping people transform their potential to achieve remarkable results. As a trained facilitator of engagement processes and over 20 years working in sustainable development, Chris has first hand experience of the power of people working together to create workable, practical solutions and make tangible, lasting change happen.
